Marianne, a beautiful 21-year-old girl, is married to Michael, a virile young stud, who vows his deep love for her but in order to be happy and stay young needs outside love to fulfill all his sexual desires. He explains this carefully to Marianne and advises her that in order for their marriage to exist, she will have to participate in his picking up other girls and indulging in orgies.
In the first encounter he meets Francis who unfortunately falls passionately in love with him; so much so that she helps him recruit more girls to satisfy his appetite. He envisions himself as a great lover, romping with more and more beautiful girls.
In the meantime Marianne meets a handsome artist, Philip, who finds her irresistible. Insistent as Philip is, Marianne still loves Michael, hoping he will become tired of his escapades and return to her as his only true love.
After many months of many women, Michael begins to feel it is all a waste. None of it replaces the

love he had with Marianne and he finally decides to return to her. However Marianne has put up with his infidelity so long their relationship has dissolved and she can stand it no longer. Looking for some pleasure in her life, she goes off with the young artist.
Michael tries desperately to find her to tell her of his decision but all he finds is a note waiting for him ...
