Corporate Queen

1969       Renay Clair, Marie Brent

Storyline Teaser for Corporate Queen

In a plush penthouse overlooking the city, a very special group of people nervously await the entrance of the glamorous and notorious Crystal Laverne. The private secretary, Edna, Marie Brent) an attractive girl who lives in a world without men, snaps the crowd to attention. With a swish of satin and a flurry of feathers, the "Queen" enters. In a seemingly short time, Crystal Laverne Renay Claire will select a new tailor for her lover, audition a new stud for her escort service, choose two new male masseurs for her European Massage racket, and down four vodka stingers. Such is the life of a woman who has built one of the biggest "play-for-pay" businesses in the country. Having dismissed her flock, this shepherdess of sin relates to Edna just how it all began.

Just a few short years ago Crystal Laverne was a down-at-the-heels hooker working the Greenwich Village area. Customers were scarce and the cops were cracking down on streetwalkers. Sneaking into her apartment, which she

owed three months back rent on, she discovers a handsome young man sleeping by her door. Thinking he might have some cash, she invites him in. Cash he hasn't got, but his other attributes so impress Crystal that they are soon writhing in a scene of unparalleled erotic excitement. His name is Chino ) Tony Vito) and he will swing with anyone, man or woman. His sexual tastes are bizarre to say the least! Crystal and Chino decide to go into business together and place an ad in the local papers. A phony massage service starts bringing in the customers. Chinos first customer is a wealthy homosexual and in a precedent shattering scene, Chino "services" the client to his full satisfaction.

Business is so good now, that Crystal spends most of the day on the phone lining up new men and women to handle the varied requests that keep pouring in. The landlady becomes suspicious of the heavy traffic coming and going from the apartment, so they take a small office in midtown which enables them to expand their operations. Sex is big business now and the money just doesn't stop. Lesbians, Nymphomaniacs. foot-fetishists, you name it - Crystal will supply it! As her empire grows, Crystal finds she is falling in love with Chino. He gladly accepts the expensive gifts she showers on him, but he spends less and less time on the job.

Crystal becomes suspicious when she finds what looks like a love note. She confronts him with it and he quickly explains that its from his kid sister. Relieved, she takes him on the town for a night of celebration, ending up at a private club where they witness an erotic performance calculated to blow anyone's mind. In this bizarre atmosphere Chino asks Crystal to marry him, and she gladly accepts.

Coming back to the present, Crystal tells Edna, her secretary, that after the wedding in two weeks, she is turning the entire business over to Chino and buying a small mansion on Long Island. Having forgotten she was supposed to look at the place with the real estate agent, she rushes out, telling Edna to lock up and take the rest of the day off. Now alone in the house, a weird change takes place in Edna.

No longer the man-hating model of efficiency, she lets down her hair and her inhibitions, climbs into Crystal's bed, and waits In a shocking revelation, her lover and accomplice is none other than Chino! A violent lovemaking scene ensues with Edna forcing Chino to perform unnatural acts on her.

Meanwhile, on her way to Long Island, Crystal realizes she has forgotten some important papers and instructs her private driver, Tony, to take her back to the apartment. Entering the apartment she hears voices from her bedroom. Fearing the worst, she goes to her secret two way mirror where she sees and hears Chino and Edna plotting her death and the take over of the company. She listens intently as Edna instructs Chino on how to seal Crystal in her bedroom and then turn on all the gas jets on the stove. Edna explains that when Crystal wakes in the morning and opens the bedroom door, the gas will rush into the room and ignite as she switches off the night light, thereby blowing Crystal sky high. Crystal listens to all of this in a state of shock, then regains her composure and proceeds to follow Edna's instructions to the letter. She turns on the gas jets, seals Chino and Edna in the bedroom, and leaves. As Chino and Edna's lovemaking builds to a frantic climax, the bedroom is blown to pieces. Crystal laughs sadistically as she rides off to Long Island ... NOBODY CROSSES "THE Corporate Queen".
